About Us
This platform is meant to serve the global Church by providing tools and inspiration to help individuals and groups pray for their nations and leaders. The is not the product of a political organisation and has no political or denominational affiliation but is being prepared by individuals to serve the whole body of Christ.
The ultimate desire is to see the knowledge of the glory of God to fill the earth as the water covers the sea (Hab 2:14).
The Vision
Imagine a world where:
- King Jesus, the suffering servant, reigns supreme and victorious;
- The church serves the nations across every sphere of influence, not by exerting power but by meeting felt needs;
- The Church is growing among every tribe and tongue, and everyone has the possibility to hear the gospel;
- Nations cooperate peaceably for the common good of their citizens and the world at large, and weapons of war are a thing of the past;
- Rulers serve their citizens with humility and compassion;
- Policy is made with all those impacted (smallest to greatest) in mind;
- Poverty is no more;
- The vulnerable, widows and orphans are honoured and offered justice at every turn;
- Communities serve each other, particularly those in need;
All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus, the enemy has been stripped bare and has no right over our communities, mountains of influence, rulers and nations.
In 1 Tim 2:1-3, Paul issues a call to pray for all people and particularly for those in authority. Jesus taught his disciples to pray for God’s Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Jesus did not give instructions to pray for something He had no intention to fulfil. In Ephesians 3:20, Paul sets out “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”, this offers us a challenge, because if we are able to imagine a healed city, nation or world, then it is clear our Father can do above and beyond.
In places of Government, places of power and influence, just and righteous people need to be raised up to be salt and light and this cannot be attained through the means of the world (power, money and manipulation) but through the means of the Kingdom, namely prayer, for those in positions of influence now and those who will be there in the future. Those righteous and just people in those positions also need prayer coverage. Additionally, our call to pray is not only for the righteous but also for the unrighteous, the same way that our Father sends sun and rain on the evil and the good (Mat 5:45).
Throughout all of society, transformation is needed, and this requires a great harvest of souls and their discipling. Let us pray for the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers, for people’s hearts to be prepared to receive the gospel and for the Church to be prepared to receive and disciple the harvest that is already coming to fruition.
